History
Initially the Wood Street Brewery, the Wellington Brewery started during April 2004 following the sale of the pub and brewery to Edale Brewery Company in March 2004. A 5BBL plant was used. Taken over again in May 2006 and reverted to the Crown name.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
