History
The brewery opened in late June 2007. A 7½BBL plant was used. Previously a couple of test brews had been carried out at 3 Rivers Brewery Ltd. Brewing ceased in late 2016 following a takeover and a change of name to Epicurus Brewing Company Limited.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
