History
Burtonwood Brewery was founded in 1867. One of the larger independent breweries in the North-West, Burtonwood Brewery PLC entered a joint venture with Thomas Hardy Burtonwood Brewery in 1999 to form a new company. They sold their pubs to Banks's Beer in 2005, resulting in Burtonwood beers brewing at Marston's Beer Company Limited. Most ales brewed here are keg contract brews for third parties. The brewery was taken over by Molson Coors Brewing Company (UK) Limited in Spring 2015.
Beers Brewed
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. A crowd-sourced beer list is also available on the Untappd page for this brewery. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.
