History
Opened in October 2000 using the former plant of the The Rat & Ratchet Brewery. The name comes from the fact that the two partners in the brewery are British and Dutch. The brewery was sold in 2011 to Partners Brewery Ltd.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
