History
First brewed March 2007 as Colonsay Brewing Co Ltd. A 5BBL plant is used. Beer is mainly bottled or brewery conditioned for the local trade. Brewing ceased pre-Covid but restarted in Autumn 2021.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
