History
Part of The Firkin Brewery chain. Opened in Summer 1997, it ceased brewing with the rest of the chain in 1999. The 5BBL plant was sold to Pictish Brewing Co Ltd.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
