History
First brewed during March 2012 using the plant of Geltsdale Brewery Ltd until their own plant was fully operational. First brewed on their own plant at Unit 1A Pontop Business Park, Harelaw Industrial Estate, Stanley, DH9 8HN in Autumn 2013. Moved once more in early 2018. Ceased brewing in Spring 2019, selling the brewery to Black Storm Brewery.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
