History
This brewery started in Summer 1989 behind the Rising Sun pub, although run as a separate business. The brewery was expanded on a number of occasions, but closed in late 1996. The Sharley Brook brewery later opened at the same site.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
