History
Started brewing in Autumn 1995 based in an old Co-Op grocery store. The brewery is so called because outside the pub is the head of the River Colne. A 2BBL plant is used. Taken over by The Ossett Brewing Company Limited in December 2006 where it is part of a group including Fernandes Brewery and The Rat Brewery.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
