History
Started brewing at Beard & Co. Ltd in 1983 as a contract brewer. Ceased brewing at the John Thompson Inn in March 2002. Some of their beers were being contract brewed by Leadmill Brewery Ltd until the end of 2002. It was understood that they were being mainly brewed by Tower Brewery until 2008 when the brand stopped being used.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
