History
Opened in late 1996 by the previous owner of Hadrian Brewery Limited and a major player in the Tap and Spile pub chain in Point Pleasant Industrial Estate, Wallsend, Tyne & Wear. Moved into the old Hadrian Brewery when they went into liquidation in 1997 having brought the plant and brands. It closed itself in early 2000. The site was reopened in October 2000 as Hadrian Border Brewery as Border Brewery Company took over the site and closed their plant in Tweedmouth.
