History
Brewing started at this The Whitbread Beer Company owned malt-extract brewpub in 1982. It stopped brewing about 2 years later. Brewing restarted in 1986 and ceased once more in 1989. Brewing once more restarted in 1993 and continued until 1996. It also brewed for a short period following a fire at the Frog & Parrot Brewhouse in Sheffield in 1998. It once again re-started in August 2007 using a 5BBL plant before stopping in early 2008. Once again it restarted in December 2008 under the name of Fox Beer Company, but ceased brewing in early 2009. It restarted brewing once more under its current name in November 2010. Brewing ceased again in 2012, restarting again in 2015 under the control of Whippet Brewing Co. In 2017 brewing came under the control of Nomadic Brewing Company Ltd and ceased on site when they opened their own site in 2018.
Beers Brewed
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. A crowd-sourced beer list is also available on the Untappd page for this brewery. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all areas possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the counties for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
