History
Started brewing in April 1997. By 2000, the beer was being brewed by The Coach House Brewing Company Ltd. By late 2001 this was replaced by a Scottish Courage Limited house beer. The plant was removed from the pub in December 2004.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
