History
Started brewing in July 2006. A 5BBL Johnson Brewing & Engineering Ltd plant was used. During 2016, brewing became less regular and for a period beer was produced under contact at Dunscar Brewery. Following a change of ownership, brewing restarted as Wigan Brewhouse Ltd in late 2017.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
