History
Opened in September 1999. Initially a 10BBL plant was used but this was upgraded to a 30BBL plant in 2006. The 10BBL plant was sold to Sheffield. Brewing ceased in early Summer 2016.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
