History
Although planned to first brew for Christmas 1991, the first beers did not appear until February 1992. The 10BBL plant was located in a former garage. The brewery proved successful, gaining a tied estate of 4 pubs but closed early 2000.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
