History
Based behind the Cavendish Arms in Cartmel when brewing commenced in September 1994, sales soon forced a move in early 1995 to the listed address. A home-made plant was used. The brewery closed during the early Summer 1998.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
