History
This brewery first started production in January 1997 based in a manger at Pearces Farm in Hingham. The main brewing vessel was previously used in the kitchens of Norwich prison and provided a kit of approximately 3BBL. Production was transferred to Buffy's Brewery Limited in early 1999. Following the purchase of the Cock Tavern in Barford in 2000 a new plant was installed in a barn at the rear of the pub and brewing started here towards the end of 2001. Ceased brewing by early 2009.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all areas possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the counties for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
