B&T Brewery Ltd

History

Started brewing in August 1982 at which time they were known correctly as Banks & Taylor. Steady expansion lead to an estate of over a dozen pubs however in April 1994 they went into receivership. They were rescued in May of the same year and a new company called B&T Brewery was set up to run the brewery, the pubs being sold. The brand name Banks & Taylor however was retained. Brewing in-house ceased in Summer 2020 and since then has been contracted out to 3 Brewers of St Albans.
