History
This brewery started in December 1994, but production problems led to a short gap before production started properly during the following spring. The brewery shut in 1997 and the plant was used for The Egyptian Sand & Gravel Co Ltd.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
