History
Brewing started at this brewpub on 18th August 1994. A 2BBL plant was used. Brewing ceased in March 1997 when the owners moved to the Farmers Boys in St. Albans and took the plant with them to start Verulam Brewery.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
