History
Brewery opened during Summer 1996 based on North Seaton Industrial Estate in Ashington, initially being known as Northumberland Breweries Ltd. A 5BBL plant was used. During the latter months of 1997 the plant was moved to Earth Balance, West Sleekburn Farm, Bedlington, an eco-friendly farm. Moved once more in early 2007 to their current address. In 2015 they changed their name to North Blyth Brewery. Brewing ceased in early 2019.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
