History
Opened in 1994 as a DIY brewery, where, with advice of an in-house brewer, the public could make their own beer for their own consumption. By 1995 some beer was appearing in the free trade brewed by the in-house brewers. Closed in late 1998 and the equipment was removed by late 1999.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
