History
First brewed in of November 2001, based at Wasdale Head Inn, Wasdale Head, Seascale. Production proper began in March 2002. The 5BBL plant was situated in an outbuilding at the rear of this remote hotel. Moved during Winter 2009 to their final location. Ceased brewing in November 2013.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
