History
Opened in 1831 as Flower & Sons and based at Brewery Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, this brewery was acquired by J. W. Green Ltd of Luton in 1954 and the name changed to Flowers Breweries Ltd. In 1961 it became part of the Whitbread empire. The brewery was closed in 1968 and production transferred to Whitbread's Cheltenham brewery. Production of the Flowers brands has since been transferred to the Boddingtons plant where they are now part of Interbrew UK's portfolio.
