History
Started brewing in April 2002. The 5BBL self-built plant has many vessels made of plastic. The brewery was taken over in early Summer 2011 by Quantum Brewing Company who for a short period produced beers under the Shaws name.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
