History
Brewery founded in 1847 and relocated to their final address in 1895. Taken over by Wolverhampton & Dudley in 1943 brewing continued until the brewery shut in 1991. Hanson's Mild was finally brewed at Wolverhampton & Dudley's main Wolverhampton plant before being delisted sometime around 2014.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
