History
First brewed in early December 2003 based at Cormorant Centre, Cormorant Drive, Runcorn using the names Northern Brewing Ltd and Stubbs. The 5BBL plant was formerly located at Orchard Brewery Bar. Moved to their current location in October 2005 at the same time becoming Blakemere Brewery. At the end of 2015 they were taken over and came under their current name. Brewing was suspended in mid-2019 and never restarted..

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
