History
Started brewing in November 1982 using a 10BBL plant. Ceased brewing in October 1983. Restarted brewing in 1984 following a merger with Ashford Brewery to form Kentish Ales.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
