History
Started brewing in early 1981 based in the former canteen of Little Mill Brickworks, Usk initially using the name Gwent Ales Ltd. The brewery ceased trading in 1984, but quickly restarted under the above name and at the new address. In 1985 the owner brought a pub and moved the brewery to it, however no brewing ever took place at the pub.
